Despatch Coordinator
£27,000
Monday to Friday
Yolk Recruitment are partnered with this leading high-precision manufacturing business as they continue to grow. With a strong history of secure long term contracts the business has always offered security and the opportunity to develop in a well run, world class operation, manufacturing high quality components.
You'll be responsible for coordinating the smooth movement of customer orders from site to destination, ensuring shipments are prepared, documented and dispatched efficiently. Working closely with production, sales, customers and logistics partners, you'll help ensure deliveries are completed accurately, compliantly and on schedule.
This is what you'll be doing:
- Coordinate customer shipments from order through to dispatch.
- Prepare shipping paperwork, export documentation and customer invoices.
- Arrange transport and courier collections while liaising with freight providers.
- Keep customers and internal teams updated on shipment progress and delivery requirements.
- Process export documentation, including Certificates of Origin, ATR certificates and other customs paperwork.
- Support loading operations, process returns, maintain shipping records and ensure all dispatch activities comply with site procedures and health & safety standards.

The experience you'll need in this role:
- Previous experience within logistics, dispatch, shipping or export administration.
- Good knowledge of export documentation and customs requirements.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident communicator, able to build effective relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
- Able to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using ERP systems such as SAP would be an advantage but is not essential.
