Despatch Operative
Job Title: Full-Time Despatch Operative
About the Role We are seeking determined and committed individuals to join our Retail Despatch Department and contribute to its efficient operation. As part of our team, you will play a key role in driving performance and supporting our company’s future growth by ensuring all despatch activities run smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Unloading lorries and weighing product
- Scanning product into and back from production
- Adhering to correct stock rotation procedures
- Checking yields at the end of production, investigating any issues
- Scanning pallets
- Stacking products correctly in chills
- Conducting stocktaking
- Selecting correct orders
- Loading containers
- Performing clerical duties associated with product despatch

Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Possess excellent communication skills
- A strong written and spoken English ability -Ability to work independently while collaboratively contributing to high-level customer service
- Flexible approach to work, including willingness to work additional hours when needed to meet customer demand

Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry (advantageous)
