Developer
Developer – Cardiff
Location: Cardiff (Onsite)

About the Role
As a Developer, you’ll join a small, collaborative Agile team in Cardiff, working to deliver high-quality business applications that transform how we serve our clients. Working across the full technology stack—C# .NET, Angular, and SQL Server—you'll design, develop, maintain, and support solutions while contributing to efficient, client-facing processes.
Key Responsibilities
Development
- Design, develop, and maintain new and existing application features using C# .NET (backend services) and Angular (frontend interfaces).
- Build responsive, user-friendly digital solutions for business and compliance needs.
Database Maintenance
- Maintain, optimise, and troubleshoot SQL Server databases to ensure data integrity, performance, and reliability.
Automation & Testing Support
- Assist the quality assurance (QA) team by creating, maintaining, and executing Playwright automated test scripts for improved software quality.
Agile & Collaboration
- Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies, including:
- Daily stand-ups
- Sprint planning
- Backlog refinement
- Sprint reviews
- Retrospectives
Deployment & Continuous Delivery
- Support deployment processes across development, test, and production environments, ensuring smooth software releases.

Stakeholder Engagement
- Report to the Lead Developer and Scrum Master, providing progress updates and resolving project risks to align with key milestones.
Requirements
Technical Skills
- 5+ years of professional development experience with expertise in C# .NET (or an equivalent language).
- Strong familiarity with modern relational database management systems (RDBMS).
- Experience with Angular (or React) is preferred but not mandatory.
- Bonus points for familiarity with event-driven architectures and experience in regulated industries (e.g., finance, compliance).
- Responsible AI use is a core part of the role—candidates should demonstrate a proactive approach to integrating AI tools into the software development lifecycle.
