Location: Initially Bradford (moving to Leeds Valley Park summer 2026) Hybrid (3 days/week office-based, Bradford/Leeds) Role Type: Permanent (37 hrs/week, Mon-Fri)

The Role: Developer Services Trainer
As a Developer Services Trainer, you’ll drive the technical knowledge and skills of Yorkshire Water’s Variety of colleagues (inductees, new starters, and existing teams) via multi-disciplinary training.

Key Responsibilities
- Design & Deliver:
- High-quality training frameworks aligned with organisational & departmental goals
- Engaging process, policy, and system training for back-office and field-based teams, ensuring operational compliance
- Learning & Development:
- Own and maintain departmental learning frameworks
- Identify training needs, implement solutions to support colleague development
- Change & Compliance Support:
- Upskill colleagues through change initiatives
- Promote positive behaviours and cultural adoption
- Performance & Record Keeping:
- Maintain auditable, compliant emissions assessment records (aligned with awarding bodies)
- Ensure all activities adhere to Health & Safety legislation
- Technical Support:
- Apply experience in workplace training, assessment, and people development (Supports Level 3 Award in Education & Training preferred)
- Travel to multiple sites across Yorkshire Water’s network
Skills & Qualifications
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Trainer: Level 3 Award in Education & Training (or equivalent)
- Leadership: Working towards/holding an ILM (or CMI) Leadership & Management qualification
- Psychometrics: Experience in assessment tools (MBTI, EQ, PRINT) for individual/team development
- Technical Compliance:
- NRSWA qualification and robust working practices in utility/construction environments
- IOSH or NEBOSH Health & Safety certification
- Environmental & Technical Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of Developer Services, processes, new construction activities
- Mobility:
- Full UK driving licence obligatory to travel for training/operational support
