🚀 Exclusive Opportunity | Business Development Manager – Property Finance | London & Home Counties | £70,000–£80,000 + Benefits | Hybrid Working

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a growing and ambitious specialist property finance lender.

This is a senior, high-impact role focused on driving origination, relationship management, and market growth across London and the Home Counties. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding the company's market presence, building strategic relationships, and delivering sustainable lending growth while maintaining a strong focus on credit quality and customer outcomes.

The Opportunity

We're seeking a commercially minded and well-connected professional with a proven track record within real estate lending, specialist property finance, or development finance. This role offers the chance to work closely with senior leadership, influence business development strategy, and contribute to the continued growth of an established and highly regarded lender.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business origination and relationship development across London and the Home Counties
  • Build, manage, and grow a portfolio of clients, brokers, and introducers
  • Develop strong relationships with borrowers, professional advisers, and key industry stakeholders
  • Contribute to sales strategy and market positioning initiatives
  • Identify market trends, opportunities, and competitive developments to support business growth
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to ensure efficient deal execution
  • Support cross-functional business development initiatives and identify opportunities to broaden client relationships
  • Maintain a disciplined approach to credit quality, risk management, and regulatory compliance

About You

  • Proven business development and relationship management experience within real estate lending, specialist property finance, or a related sector
  • Strong network of brokers, introducers, and industry contacts across London and the Home Counties
  • Commercially astute with excellent relationship-building skills
  • Strong understanding of lending structures, credit principles, and property finance markets
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider team
  • Degree educated in Finance, Banking, Real Estate, Economics, or a related discipline
