As we continue to drive ambitious growth through innovation, we're looking for a talented Development Chef – Global Cuisines to join our R&D team and help shape the future of our category.
This is an exciting opportunity to influence the next generation of products across a variety of cuisines, formats and categories, bringing consumer trends and culinary expertise together to create fantastic food experiences for millions of households.
What you'll be doing?
As our Development Chef, you'll play a key role in delivering our innovation strategy, working closely with cross-functional teams to create trend-led, consumer-focused products. You'll:
- Develop exciting new product concepts inspired by emerging food trends and global cuisines.
- Provide culinary leadership throughout the product development process, ensuring excellent taste, quality and authenticity.
- Collaborate with R&D, Marketing, Regulatory, Nutrition and Project Management teams to deliver successful innovation projects.
- Monitor food trends across retail, foodservice, menus, media and international markets, translating insights into commercial opportunities.
- Support product launches through recipe development, food styling, presentations and demonstrations.
- Deliver engaging culinary workshops and presentations that inspire food culture across the business.
- Help strengthen Premier Foods' reputation for category-leading innovation and culinary excellence.

What we need from you?
We're looking for someone who combines culinary expertise with commercial awareness and a genuine curiosity about food trends.
- A passionate foodie with strong culinary knowledge and creativity.
- Experience creating innovative, consumer-focused products.
- Excellent presentation and food demonstration skills.
- Ability to manage projects independently while collaborating effectively with others.
- Curious, trend-focused and always looking for the next big idea.
- 3+ years' experience as a Development Chef working across multiple cuisines.
- Strong understanding of Indian and Pan-Asian cuisines.
- Experience within food manufacturing or FMCG product development.
- Knowledge of scaling culinary concepts into commercially viable manufactured products.
- Chef qualifications from an accredited college.
- Degree or equivalent in Food Science, Food Technology or a related discipline.
- HNC, BTEC or similar food-related qualification.
- Food Hygiene certification.
