Are you a Development Engineer looking for the opportunity to take ownership across multiple residential developments with an established developer?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Development Engineer to join a close-knit technical team based near Bexley/Dartford which is easily accessible, supporting residential developments across Kent and Sussex.
This is a genuinely hands on role where you'll work closely with the Technical Manager, taking responsibility for coordinating engineering packages from land acquisition through to construction, whilst liaising with consultants, local authorities and highways to keep developments moving.
The Role
You'll Be Responsible For
- Coordinating structural and civil engineering packages alongside architects and consultants
- Reviewing technical reports and identifying practical, cost-effective engineering solutions
- Advising on technical constraints and engineering considerations
- Managing Section 38, Section 104 and related highway and drainage agreements
- Preparing and managing tenders for roads, sewers and enabling works
- Liaising with local authorities, statutory bodies and utility providers
- Supporting multiple residential developments across Kent and Sussex

About You
We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running.
Ideally, you'll have experience working for a residential developer or housebuilder and be confident managing multiple live developments simultaneously. You'll have a commercial mindset, understand economical design solutions and enjoy taking ownership rather than requiring constant supervision.

Package
- Salary up to £70,000
- Company car or £5,000 car allowance
- 25 days holiday
- Office based near Bexley with regular site visits across Kent and Sussex
