Job Title: DevOps Architect
Location: Canary Wharf, London, UK (Hybrid – 3 days/week onsite)
Contract Duration: 6 Months
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Architect with 15+ years of IT experience to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale DevOps strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud platforms, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Kubernetes, and DevOps best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable DevOps strategies and CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery.
- Architect secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions on Azure, AWS, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Lead Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives using Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes.
- Build and optimize automation frameworks for deployment and infrastructure management.
- Drive DevOps best practices across development, testing, and operations teams.
- Implement monitoring, governance, security, and operational excellence across cloud environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to improve software delivery and platform reliability.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, performance, and security of enterprise applications.

Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 15 years of IT experience.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Architect or similar senior DevOps leadership role.
- Strong expertise in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, and containerization technologies.
- Strong knowledge of Azure, AWS, or OCI cloud platforms.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud automation.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices, monitoring, governance, and platform reliability.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Experience
- Experience working in large enterprise or public sector environments.
- Exposure to healthcare or highly regulated industries is advantageous.
Work Arrangement
Hybrid – 3 days per week onsite in Canary Wharf, London.
