Summary
Join us in a key cloud engineering role where you'll help design, build, and support the platforms and services that power our business. Working alongside development, architecture, security, and operations teams, you'll drive automation, improve reliability, and champion DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) best practices. You'll play a pivotal role in enhancing service resilience, observability, and operational efficiency while helping shape the future of our cloud capabilities through continuous improvement and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and platform services to enable secure, reliable, and scalable application delivery.
- Identify, analyse, and remediate platform, infrastructure, and deployment weaknesses, driving continuous improvement in reliability, performance, and operational efficiency.
- Drive automation initiatives that reduce operational overhead, improve deployment quality, and increase the scalability and resilience of cloud-hosted services.
- Collaborate closely with architecture, development, security, and operations teams to establish and promote DevOps best practices, standards, and ways of working.
- Contribute to the adoption of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices, supporting improvements in observability, monitoring, service reliability, incident management, and operational excellence.
- Implement and support infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and governance solutions using technologies such as Terraform, OpenTofu, Scalr, and Puppet.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance tooling that supports software delivery, platform operations, monitoring, and automated operational processes.
- Support the testing, validation, and deployment of new platform capabilities, assessing operational impact and ensuring production readiness.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, test, and production environments, working proactively to identify and eliminate recurring problems.
- Ensure cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and supporting platform services are secure, resilient, compliant, and aligned with organisational standards and best practices.
