DevOps Engineer (AWS / Terraform)
Overview
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, build and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD platforms. You'll work closely with software engineering teams to automate deployments, improve platform reliability and implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform within AWS environments.
The ideal candidate will have strong AWS and Terraform experience alongside a solid background with modern open-source DevOps tooling and cloud-native technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support rapid, reliable software delivery.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management and application deployments.
- Build and manage Kubernetes container platforms.
- Implement monitoring, logging and alerting solutions to improve platform reliability.
- Improve system performance, scalability and resilience.
- Collaborate with developers to optimise deployment processes and application architecture.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Implement cloud security best practices, IAM policies and secrets management.
- Support disaster recovery, backup strategies and high availability architectures.
- Champion DevOps best practices and continuous improvement across engineering teams.

Essential Skills & Experience
Cloud
- Strong commercial experience with AWS
- Good understanding of cloud networking, VPCs, IAM, Route53, Load Balancers, EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS and S3
Infrastructure as Code
- Terraform (essential)
- Terraform modules
- Remote state management

- Experience with one or more:
