We're supporting a secure technology organisation looking to add a DevOps Engineer to their growing engineering function.
This role will suit someone who enjoys working across infrastructure, automation, and cloud technologies, helping to improve how systems are built, deployed, and maintained. You'll be joining a collaborative team focused on delivering reliable, scalable, and secure platforms that support critical services. Please only apply if you have active DV clearance.
The Role
You'll play a key part in driving automation, managing cloud-based infrastructure, and improving deployment processes across multiple environments. Working closely with engineers and technical stakeholders, you'll help streamline delivery, enhance platform reliability, and support ongoing technology improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain automated deployment pipelines.
- Manage and improve cloud and Linux-based environments.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code solutions.
- Support containerised platforms and orchestration technologies.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and observability capabilities.
- Improve deployment, release, and operational processes through automation.
- Work alongside engineering teams to increase delivery efficiency.
- Investigate and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
- Ensure security and best practice are considered throughout delivery.
- Maintain technical documentation and operational standards.

Experience Required
- Commercial experience within DevOps, Platform, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Strong Linux administration skills.
- Experience with cloud technologies.
- Experience using Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Knowledge of containerisation technologies.
- Experience with CI/CD and automation tooling.
- Understanding of networking and security concepts.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
- Docker and Kubernetes experience.
- AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud exposure.
- Git version control experience.
- Experience supporting highly available or mission-critical environments.
