About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in Azure cloud environments to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure solutions. You will work closely with development and operations teams to automate deployment processes, optimize performance, and enhance system resilience. The position offers significant ownership and the opportunity to influence architectural decisions, ensuring the platform evolves in line with business needs. Collaboration within an Agile environment is essential, as you will contribute to continuous improvements, implement best practices, and introduce innovative solutions to streamline workflows and accelerate delivery cycles.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer within a Microsoft Azure cloud environment.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure provisioning tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, AWS CloudFormation, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of designing and implementing scalable, high-availability systems capable of handling substantial loads.
  • Extensive experience in developing and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Node.js, or Golang, with a focus on scripting and automation.
  • Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a pragmatic approach to technical challenges.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, Agile environment and adapt to evolving priorities.

Responsibilities

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure solutions on Azure, ensuring security, scalability, and high availability.
  • Automating deployment processes and managing infrastructure as code (IaC) to streamline operations and reduce manual intervention.
  • Building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines to facilitate rapid and reliable software delivery.
  • Collaborating with development teams to integrate automation, testing, and deployment strategies.
  • Monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing improvements to enhance stability and efficiency.
  • Contributing to architectural decisions, best practices, and technical documentation.
  • Participating in security reviews and ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
  • Staying updated with the latest cloud technologies, tools, and industry trends to continuously improve platform capabilities.
