About The Role

Hackajob, in collaboration with Gemba Advantage, is seeking enthusiastic Junior and DevOps Engineers to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals eager to develop their skills in cloud infrastructure, automation, and deployment processes. As part of the team, you will work closely with experienced engineers and stakeholders to support the development and maintenance of secure, scalable platforms. The position involves collaborating within an agile environment, contributing to the automation of infrastructure, and enhancing deployment pipelines to facilitate efficient digital services for public sector clients. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about learning, problem-solving, and making a tangible impact through technology.

Qualifications

  • Active or recently active SC or DV security clearance
  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems
  • Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or similar
  • Experience with scripting languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to work on-site up to four days per week

Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure cloud infrastructure
  • Automate deployment and configuration processes to improve efficiency and reliability
  • Support the development and management of CI/CD pipelines
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment of applications
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively
  • Participate in security assessments and ensure compliance with security standards
  • Document infrastructure and deployment processes clearly and accurately
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in DevOps and cloud computing
