As Lead DevOps Engineer, you’ll be pivotal in designing, building, and maintaining robust CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) infrastructure—critical for our services.

Responsibilities
Core Delivery Leadership
- Own and define the team’s objectives, working closely with your Scrum Master to align delivery with customer requirements.
CI/CD Expertise
- Lead full CI/CD lifecycle, including:
- Requirements gathering & design
- Implementation & testing
- Deployment & optimisation
- Ensure seamless, automated workflows from code to production.

Collaboration & Team Growth
- Partner with product, front-end development, and QA teams to ensure integrated, high-quality delivery.
- Mentor junior engineers to build capability and support career progression.

Requirements
Technical Skills & Experience
✔ 5+ years as a DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in:
- CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
- Containerisation & orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, Pulumi, or similar
- Cloud platforms: AWS (or related public/private clouds)
- Linux systems administration (or equivalent OS familiarity)
✔ Experience in troubleshooting production systems, including:
- Networking (at a high level)
- Server performance & scalability issues
- Application deploys
✔ Database awareness:
- Familiarity with SQL (RDBMS)
- Exposure to NoSQL platforms like Elasticsearch or MongoDB

Security Clearance
⚠ Eligibility:
- Must be a British National for this clearance type.
