Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced AWS DevOps / CI/CD Pipeline Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure and automated deployment pipelines.

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with AWS services, containerisation, CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code, and enterprise networking and security.
You will work closely with development, infrastructure, and security teams to:
- Streamline software delivery
- Improve deployment reliability
- Support cloud-native applications running on AWS
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using:
- AWS CodePipeline
- AWS CodeBuild
- AWS CodeDeploy
- YAML-based pipeline configurations
- Develop and manage automated deployment workflows for applications hosted on Amazon ECS
- Build, manage, and maintain Docker container images in Amazon ECR
- Configure and administer AWS infrastructure, including:
- ECS
- IAM
- VPC
- Load Balancers
- Route 53
- CloudWatch
- CloudTrail
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using:
- Terraform
- AWS CloudFormation
- Design secure cloud environments by implementing:
- IAM roles and policies
- Security groups
- Least-privilege access controls
- Configure and manage networking components, such as:
- VPCs
- Subnets
- NAT Gateways
- Route Tables
- Internet Gateways
- Security Groups
- Integrate enterprise authentication solutions (e.g. Active Directory) with AWS environments
- Monitor application and infrastructure health using:
- CloudWatch
- Other monitoring tools
- Troubleshoot:
- Deployment issues
- Infrastructure incidents
- Production outages
- Collaborate with software developers to enhance build automation and release management
- Implement deployment strategies, including:
- Blue-Green
- Rolling
- Canary
- Ensure compliance with organizational security and governance standards
- Participate in:
- Code reviews
- Release planning
- DevOps best practices
