DevOps Engineer – Worcestershire – On Site – Permanent 37.5 hours per week – £45,000 - £70,000- DV Cleared

Company cultures & job summary

Our client is a cutting-edge technology consultancy delivering complex, high-impact solutions across both private and public sector, the kind of place where the work actually matters and the pace keeps you sharp. The engineering team is collaborative, ownership-driven, and genuinely invested in doing things the right way. You'll be working alongside developers, architects and product teams on real platforms, tackling complex DevOps challenges and helping shape the technical direction of the infrastructure you build. This isn't a box-ticking role, they want people who challenge assumptions, drive improvements and care about quality. To hit the ground running, you'll need deep Kubernetes experience, strong hands-on CI/CD skills (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or similar), solid Infrastructure as Code knowledge using tools like Terraform or Helm, and the ability to write clean Python or scripting to support automation. You'll also need to be comfortable producing clear technical documentation and contributing confidently to large-scale technical discussions. Sound like you?

The Key Responsibilities of a DevOps Engineer:

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
