Department: Platform Technology

Location: Horsham

Description

We’re hiring a DevOps Engineer to join our Core DevOps team, building and operating the shared platforms and tooling that support engineering across Benchmark.

You will focus on creating scalable, secure and automated infrastructure, enabling delivery teams to build, test and release software quickly and consistently.

This is a hands-on role with real impact across our cloud platform, CI/CD pipelines and developer experience.

What you'll do

  • Build and maintain shared cloud platforms and services (primarily Azure)
  • Develop reusable infrastructure and automation using Terraform and scripting
  • Create CI/CD frameworks using tools such as GitHub Actions and Octopus Deploy
  • Enable self-service capabilities so teams can deploy and manage workloads independently
  • Support Kubernetes clusters, container platforms, networking and identity integrations
  • Implement guardrails and policies to support security, compliance and scalability
  • Maintain monitoring, logging, alerting and performance standards across the platform
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks in engineering workflows and deployment pipelines
  • Work closely with engineering teams to improve tooling, reliability and speed of delivery
  • Support incident triage, including security-related tickets

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
