DevOps Engineer
SecDevOps Engineer (Government Programme) – Haystack Partner Role
The Role
- Design, implement, and support secure, scalable cloud infrastructure using a tailored SecDevOps Scrum process on a major government programme.
- Apply DevOps best practices and cloud-native design principles, leveraging cloud services and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to drive automation and continuous delivery.
- Work hands-on with automated testing, deployments, and infrastructure monitoring.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, risk mitigation activities, and collaborative solution design.
- Drive automation and continuous delivery across multiple environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in cloud environments.

Requirements
• Demonstrated experience managing source code with GIT, including pull requests and branching strategies. • Expertise in designing and managing cloud infrastructure, including core compute, networking, database, and identity services. • Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and Ansible. • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins. • Proven ability to write and maintain scripts and automation tools using Bash, Python, or PowerShell. • Familiarity with containerization using Docker and orchestration best practices. • Understanding of cloud security best practices and secrets management.
