DevOps Engineer Defence & National Security
Location: Frimley, London, Leeds or Manchester (Hybrid)
Salary: Up to £56,000
A leading organisation within the defence and national security sector is looking for experienced DevOps Engineers to join their growing technology teams, supporting mission-critical projects that help protect governments, businesses and communities.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex engineering challenges, collaborating across Infrastructure, DevOps and SRE teams to deliver secure, scalable and innovative solutions.
What you'll get to work across:
- Supporting DevOps and infrastructure engineering activities within Agile teams
- Building and managing cloud environments using Azure or GCP
- Implementing Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Supporting CI/CD pipelines and automation processes
- Developing scripts using Shell, Bash, Python or similar languages
- Working with configuration management, containerisation and modern DevOps tooling
- Collaborating with engineers and stakeholders to solve complex technical challenges

What we need from you:
- Commercial experience working in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering or SRE roles
- Experience with Azure or GCP cloud platforms
- Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles and tooling
- Experience with CI/CD technologies and automation
- Scripting experience with languages such as Python, Bash or Shell
- Experience working in Agile environments
