BANK ONLY CONTRACT
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, highly motivated Midwife or Nurse with an interest and passion for delivering high quality care for women/birthing people with diabetes.
Working alongside the multi-disciplinary team providing and coordinating care of patients with pre-existing and gestational diabetes.
To deliver woman centered advice, support and care specifically for women with pre-existing diabetes and gestational diabetes. The post holder will be expected to work closely with the diabetes multi-disciplinary team and to manage Midwife/Nurse led care clinics for women who have been identified with gestational diabetes for further assessment, education and monitoring of their condition in line with evidence-based guidelines.
To work safely and effectively as an Non Medical Prescriber working within an agreed formulary.
Available as an expert for diabetes for midwives and junior doctors to ensure care provided within the Trust is effective and evidenced based to support safe practice.
