Job Opportunity at Wythenshawe Hospital

Wythenshawe Hospital, part of the Manchester Foundation Trust, is seeking an enthusiastic plain film radiographer to join the team at our Wythenshawe and Withington sites. The successful candidates will be expected to rotate through all areas of plain film imaging on both sites.

Shift System

We moved to a shift based rota system in September 2023, where all staff work an averaged 37.5 hours per week across 7 days, with a minimum of 2 rota'd days off each week. These include night shifts, long days, weekend and normal day shifts.

Role Overview

To provide a diagnostic radiography service to patients attending Wythenshawe hospital for a wide range of examinations.

Support and Training

We have an excellent preceptorship and induction program and will support your integration into the department.

Equipment and Development

This is an exciting time to join the team with new equipment having being installed as part of a wider Managed Equipment Service (MES) across the Division of Imaging, with further equipment replacements expected in the coming months and years.
