Diagnostic Radiology
#Role and Facility Information Surrey Radiology Group is seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE) radiologist to join their team at:
- Surrey Memorial Hospital (SMH) – a 600+-bed community and academic teaching hospital
- Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre (JPOCSC) – a modern ambulatory care facility
##Practice Overview The Medical Imaging Departments at Surrey Memorial Hospital and the Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre deliver a comprehensive range of diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology services to one of BC’s fastest-growing regions (~600,000 people).
###Key Facilities Surrey Memorial Hospital (SMH)
- 600+ beds and the largest acute-care hospital in Fraser Health Authority
- Regional referral centre for complex care, including:
- Oncology
- Thoracic surgery
- Trauma & critical care
- Nephrology
- Maternal-child health
- One of BC’s busiest Emergency Departments
Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre (JPOCSC)
- Outpatient-focused facility for:
- CT, MRI, X-ray, ultrasound, mammography
- Same-day surgery
- Scheduled interventional procedures
- Works closely with SMH to reduce surgical wait-times
- Modern infrastructure with integrated multidisciplinary care

###Clinical Scope The successful candidate will:
- Participate in Interventional Radiology (full-spectrum of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, except stroke/neurovascular)
- Engage in inpatient and outpatient consultations alongside multidisciplinary rounds
- Provide Diagnostic Radiology coverage (General Radiography, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, CT, MRI) based on training/experience
- Collaborate in a high-volume, high-quality care model across inpatient/outpatient settings

##Qualifications To qualify, candidates must:
- Hold certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
- Have fellowship-level training, ideally in:
- Cardiothoracic Imaging
- Breast Imaging
- Neuroradiology
- Be eligible for licensure under the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia
