The Opportunity
A well-established commercial vehicle dealership is seeking an experienced Diagnostic Technician to join its workshop team in the Greater Belfast area.
This is a key role within the workshop, focused on advanced fault finding and diagnostics across a modern fleet of commercial vehicles and vans.
The Role
- Carry out advanced diagnostics and fault finding on HGVs, LGVs, and LCVs
- Use manufacturer diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve issues
- Support workshop technicians with complex mechanical and electrical faults
- Conduct servicing, repairs, and system testing where required
- Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer and dealership standards
- Accurately complete diagnostic reports, job cards, and technical documentation
- Assist with identifying recurring faults and improving repair processes

What We're Looking For
- Experience as a Diagnostic Technician or Senior Vehicle Technician
- Strong background in electrical systems, diagnostics, and fault finding
- Experience working on commercial vehicles (HGV, LGV, or LCV preferred)
- Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent)
- Familiarity with diagnostic software and tools
- Full UK driving licence
