Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fleet Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and experience in maintaining and repairing a variety of vehicles and heavy equipment. This role requires proficiency in diagnostics, troubleshooting, and performing repairs on fleet vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles, including trucks, trailers.
- Perform truck diagnostics to identify issues with engines, transmissions, brakes, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for repairs and fabrication tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed on each vehicle for compliance and tracking purposes.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while adhering to safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair air brake systems, suspension components, HVAC systems, shocks & struts, and tire services.

Experience
- Previous experience as a mechanic or service technician is required; dealership experience is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including diesel engine repair, brake repair, alignment, and assembly.
- Familiarity with schematics for diagnosing electrical issues in vehicles is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during repairs.
- A commitment to safety standards while operating vehicles and equipment.
