Dietitian
Exciting Opportunity: Diabetes & Weight Management Dietitian (Band 5/6)
Location: Fife, Scotland
About the Role We are looking for a passionate, dynamic Dietitian to join our Diabetes & Weight Management Team across Fife, dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. This role offers a unique opportunity to broaden specialist skills, progress your career, and contribute to innovative service delivery—whether you’re a Band 5 Dietitian eager for growth or a Band 6 Dietitian seeking to specialise further.
Core Responsibilities
You will play a pivotal role in:
- Delivering evidence-based interventions for weight management and diabetes (types 1 & 2).
- Providing personalised care and behaviour change support as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Contributing to education, training, and service development, shaping the future of Dietitian-led care in Fife.
- Offering services across clinics and virtual platforms to support a diverse caseload and drive service innovation.

About Us
Our Nutrition & Dietetics Service covers Fife-wide clinical teams, including:
- Hospital Services
- Community Services
- Diabetes & Weight Management
- Infant, Children & Young People (ICYP)

Requirements
- HCPC registration as a Dietitian.
- Enthusiasm and experience in weight management and/or diabetes care.
- Strong communication skills and expertise in behaviour change support.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to patient-centred care, education, and service improvement.
- Willingness to travel across Fife (NHS pool cars available).
