Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated dietitian to join our band 5 rotations to provide a service to a variety of inpatient and outpatient areas including respiratory, diabetes, surgical, care of the elderly, paediatrics and oncology.
If you enjoy working as part of a team and using your initiative this is the job for you. This is a wonderful opportunity to develop clinical and professional skills within a dynamic and supportive team. The post is suitable for newly qualified dietitians or band 5 dietitians looking for further experience.
Base Location
Royal Bournemouth Hospital and/or Poole hospital

Role
The role will primarily involve inpatient work with patients across a variety of specialities; receiving oral and enteral feeding. There will also be the opportunity for outpatient work in general dietetic clinics.
There will be the opportunity to be involved in teaching and training of nurses and medical staff as well as patient education sessions.
The post holder will work closely with our senior dietitians who will help train and support you along with providing opportunities to experience other areas of dietetics.

We provide student training for a number of universities and the post holder will be involved with this.

In addition we are closely connected with our colleagues across Dorset and run a Dorset wide education and networking event twice yearly.
