Exciting Opportunity for Band 5 Dietitians at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust
An exciting opportunity has arisen for motivated and enthusiastic Band 5 Dietitians to join the Divisional Dietetic Team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. We have permanent and fixed-term contract posts available across our acute adult Dietetic services, offering an excellent opportunity for newly qualified Dietitians, those awaiting HCPC registration, or Dietitians seeking to develop their clinical skills within one of the largest NHS Trusts in England.
About the Role
Our Dietetic Division works across multiple hospital sites, including North Manchester General Hospital, Manchester Royal Infirmary, Wythenshawe Hospital and Trafford General Hospital, providing high-quality nutritional care to a diverse patient population. You will be part of a supportive, friendly and forward-thinking service with access to senior clinical expertise, structured supervision, preceptorship, appraisal and continuing professional development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to service development, student training, education, CPD activities and wider divisional initiatives.
- Manage a varied clinical caseload across acute wards and outpatient services.
- Assess patients’ nutritional status, make dietetic diagnosis, develop and implement evidence-based nutritional care plans, monitor outcomes and adapt interventions to support patient-centred goals.
- Work closely with multi-disciplinary colleagues, including nurses, doctors and other AHP's.
- Consider medical, psychological, social, environmental and cultural factors when planning care.
