Are you an enthusiastic dietitian with an interest in working with adults in the community?

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and dynamic dietitian, to join the nutrition and dietetic community team in East and North Hertfordshire, delivering a service as part of the Intermediate Care Team in HCT. The role includes clinics (face to face and virtual) and cover within the bed base units. This is an existing post, advertised as 37.5 hours, fixed term for 12 months.

Hertfordshire borders London to the north. The county is a mixture of towns, villages and rolling countryside. Central London is within easy reach as there are good road and rail links. There are good road networks, with the M25, A1 (M) and M1 crossing the district and the M40 close by. There are excellent rail services connecting with London, the North and the Midlands.

A full valid driving licence and access to a car to use regularly for business purpose is essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
