Contract: 12 Month Maternity Cover
Location: We welcome applications from those looking for hybrid working, based 2 days per week (Monday/Tuesday) in our Handforth (Cheshire) Office
We’re looking for a passionate Digital Analyst to help drive our digital strategies and insights, supporting key teams like Digital Trading, Performance Marketing, and Digital Product.

Role Overview
This role is responsible for Digital Analytics across all elements of the Digital eco-system, supporting key teams such as digital trading, performance marketing and Digital product to improve conversion and media spend efficiency using insights.
As a Digital Analyst, you’ll lead Digital Analytics for both retail and our veterinary services, providing actionable insights and fostering a data-driven culture.
You'll work cross-functionally with digital teams to drive budget optimization, enhance onsite performance, and provide strategic reporting and analysis that fuels growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Paid media effectiveness and budget optimization
- Report on channel performance and return on investment.
- Make recommendations to improve budget efficiency.
- Support test and learn roadmap with relevant analytics and insights.

Onsite analytics and insights
- Deep dive in onsite performance.
- Provide insights on funnel flow through.
- Work with Digital Products to analyse the success of new features.

Reporting and dashboarding
- Drive the reporting roadmap, working with data visualization to ensure dashboarding meets business requirements.
- Accountable for weekly and periodic reporting for the ecommerce department.
- Work closely with e-commerce teams (e.g. Digital optimization executives), to increase analytical skillset and promote a data driven approach to optimization through self-serve dashboarding.

Business cases
- Work on business cases analysis looking across various metrics, such as media effectiveness, onsite performance and delivery costs and income.

Ways of working
- Be the go-to person for all thing’s analytics and insights within the e-commerce team.
- Be a self-starter, working cross functionally to help improve data-driven decision making.
Essential Experience
- 3 years+ experience in Digital Analytics, eCommerce or Digital Marketing.
- Experience working in medium/large online businesses is essential (but experience in pet supplies is not required.)
- Skilled using key Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint) and insights tools such as Google Analytics.
- Knowledge of Google Big Query (GCP) / SQL Programming Language
- A dynamic person, who finds solutions and can drive key initiatives forward in a matrix-style organisation.
- Experience partnering with key stakeholders and holding good relationships.
- A team player who seeks new opportunities and questions the status quo.
- Content Square Certified
- Google Analytics Individual Certification
