We're hiring for two Digital Analyst positions within a growing Customer & Digital Analytics team for a major UK retailer. Whether you're an early-career analyst looking to develop your digital analytics skills or an established analyst ready to take on more ownership and stakeholder responsibility, there are opportunities at both levels. These hires are for an established team supporting eCommerce, customer experience, and digital performance.
The company
A large UK retail business investing heavily in data and analytics across customer, digital, and data science functions. The digital analytics team sits within a wider central analytics capability and works closely with eCommerce, UX, Product, and Marketing teams to understand customer behaviour and improve online performance.
The role
You'll help the business understand how customers interact with its digital platforms and identify opportunities to improve performance across the customer journey. Typical questions include:
- Why is basket value increasing or decreasing?
- Which acquisition channels are performing best?
- How are customers navigating the website?
- Which categories are driving growth?
- What impact are website and UX changes having on customer behaviour?

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
