Salary Range: £32,000 – £38,000 (DOE)
Travel: Occasional UK travel for campaigns, activations, or events

Role Summary
We are seeking a data-driven and performance-oriented Digital and Growth Marketing Specialist to join our team on-site in Birmingham. This new role has been created to support the business’s ambitious growth targets and strengthen the digital capacity of the marketing department.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of SEO expertise, paid media campaign management, analytics, and funnel optimisation, with a deep understanding of multicultural or diaspora audiences. You will be responsible for developing and executing integrated digital marketing strategies that drive traffic, generate quality leads, and increase brand visibility globally.
Key Responsibilities
Paid Media & Performance Marketing
- Plan, execute, and optimise paid campaigns across platforms including Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), YouTube, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Manage ad budgets efficiently to achieve lead generation and conversion targets.
- Set up and monitor tracking (GA4, GTM, UTM tagging) to measure campaign performance and ROI.
- Conduct A/B testing and iterative performance improvement.
- Develop and manage email marketing campaigns, including audience segmentation, automated flows, and performance tracking to support lead nurturing and retention goals.

SEO & Organic Growth
- Conduct keyword research, content audits, and competitive analysis to inform SEO strategy.
- Optimise website pages and blog content for on-page SEO performance.
- Collaborate with content and design teams to develop SEO-friendly assets.
- Build and manage backlink strategies and identify opportunities for domain authority growth.
Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor, analyse, and report on performance metrics using Google Analytics, Data Studio, and CRM data.
- Identify patterns and insights to inform strategy shifts and optimisations.
- Create dashboards and present actionable insights to stakeholders.
Lead Funnel & CRO
- Manage and improve the customer acquisition funnel – from awareness to conversion.
- Develop and execute strategies to reduce drop-offs and increase form fills/sign-ups.
- Support email marketing automation and retargeting initiatives.
Team Support
- Collaborate closely with the broader marketing and media teams to ensure alignment across campaigns.
- Support in training junior team members on campaign reporting and digital tools, if required.
Key Skills & Requirements
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in a similar digital/growth marketing role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads, Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush).
- Excellent understanding of digital acquisition channels and growth metrics.
- Solid knowledge of CRO techniques and user journey mapping.
- Familiarity with WordPress, CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot), and email automation tools.
- Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets and reporting dashboards.
- Strong analytical mindset with a proactive, test-and-learn approach.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working with multicultural or diaspora markets is a strong advantage.

Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, or related field.
- Google Ads and Meta Blueprint certifications (preferred).
- Experience with basic HTML/CSS is a plus.
- Understanding of African diaspora media channels and community dynamics.
