Digital Asset Manager

Department: Creative

Reports to: Creative Production Manager

Grade: C

Our Story

From its inception in 1994, Chrissie Rucker’s vision was to build a company that specialised in stylish, white, designer-quality items for the home that were not only exceptional quality, but also outstanding value for money. In addition to this devotion to simplicity, it was imperative the customer was put at the heart of everything and provided with a second-to-none shopping experience - and so The White Company was born.

Today, the company that began as a 12-page mail-order brochure has become one of the UK’s fast-growing multi-channel retailers and a leading lifestyle brand with over 78 stores across the UK and a highly successful online business.

Our Role

The Digital Asset Manager oversees the full asset lifecycle, from ingest, tagging and metadata application through to retouching, review, approval and final distribution, ensuring assets are delivered accurately and on time against critical path and project deadlines. Meticulous and knowledgeable on file formats, they will ensure all assets have accurate metadata and are output in the correct colour profile and file format. This role requires an image professional who can organise the DAM and build taxonomies that allow all channels to access assets, swiftly and securely.

The Digital Asset Manager will also be responsible for the flow of external retouching, working to a tight schedule and preparing a high-volume of assets for use across The White Company website and marketing channels. They will retouch e-com imagery including backgrounds, colour correction and model touch ups, archiving raw and unretouched assets.

This is a highly cross-functional role suited to someone who combines strong organisational and project management skills with an eye for detail, budget awareness, and confidence working with creative, technical and commercial stakeholders alike.

What You’ll Be Doing

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
