As one of the UK’s leading escorted tour providers, Riviera Travel is investing in an exciting digital roadmap and we're looking for a talented Digital Business Analyst (DBA) to help shape the future of our platforms, processes, and customer journeys.
The Role
Working within our Technology & Change team, you’ll play a pivotal role in improving the digital products that underpin our award-winning travel experiences. You’ll partner closely with our Digital Product Owner, wider technology teams, and external development partners to bring impactful change to life. This is a chance to step into a role with strong autonomy, meaningful strategic influence, and involvement in major digital workstreams including booking systems, CRM, and data platform evolution.
What you’ll be doing
As the Digital Business Analyst, you will:
- Build a deep understanding of Riviera’s products, systems, and operational processes.
- Collaborate with the Digital Product Owner, internal stakeholders, and third-party suppliers to deliver our digital development roadmap.
- Use Agile/Scrum methodologies to help define and shape new features and system improvements.
- Produce high-quality BA documentation including use cases, user journeys, requirements, gap analyses, process/data flows, and designs.
- Analyse business needs, assess impacts, capture dependencies, and recommend smart, scalable solutions.
- Review existing systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Stay up to date with digital trends, best practices, and methodologies, championing continuous improvement across the business.
What we're looking for
You’ll bring expertise, confidence, and a passion for translating ideas into actionable solutions. Essential experience includes:
- A minimum of 4+ years Business Analysis experience within an ecommerce or a customer-focused industry
- Able to explain complex information in a clear, concise, and easy-to-understand way.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to adapt to different levels of audience.
- Ability to engage and work collaboratively across different business functions.
- Experience of using tools like Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps for managing work in sprints.
- Clear understanding of the full SDLC in an Agile environment.
- Understands the need to meet NFRs, data, and reporting requirements as part of development specifications.
- Knowledge of technical infrastructure and its interdependencies.
