About the Role

We are looking for a commercial and customer-focused Digital Client Partner to join the Zenergi team. In this role, you will take ownership and grow a portfolio of mid-value clients, acting as a trusted advisor to drive measurable outcomes, maximise value, and expand our digital and consultancy services.

This will combine relationship management, data insight, and commercial proficiency to deliver exceptional client experiences while identifying growth opportunities. Success will be measured through customer retention, revenue expansion, and long-term partnership development—this is a high-impact role.


Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Client Partnership & Growth

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across 30–60 client accounts.
  • Develop tailored client success plans aligned with each organisation’s goals.
  • Identify, position, and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities across Zenergi’s products and services.
  • Act as a strategic advisor, helping clients optimise energy usage, cost efficiency, and sustainability outcomes.

Commercial Ownership

  • Own renewal strategies and contract deliveries to ensure high retention and long-term contract value.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on pricing, proposals, and negotiations.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and business cases demonstrating ROI and value.

Customer Experience & Insight

  • Conduct regular customer reviews, satisfaction audits, and risk assessments.
  • Proactively identify and resolve risks to retention or satisfaction.
  • Feed customer insights into Product, Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams.

Data & Performance

  • Analyse customer data (e.g. energy usage, market trends) to identify optimisation opportunities.
  • Track and report on KPIs including retention, revenue growth, and customer success metrics.
  • Provide performance updates and strategic recommendations to clients.

Product & Industry Advocacy

  • Stay updated on Zenergi’s evolving product suite and industry trends.
  • Educate clients on new innovations, regulatory changes, and sustainability opportunities.
  • Position yourself as an ambassador for Zenergi and the energy industry.

Expertise, Skills & Knowledge

Essential

  • Proven experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or Sales with revenue responsibility.
  • Strong commercial mindset, with a track record of retention and growth against targets.
  • Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly organised, accountable, and results-driven.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for delivering tangible value and exceptional client outcomes.

Desirable

  • Experience within energy, utilities, or sustainability sectors.
  • Knowledge of Third-Party Intermediary (TPI) models and industry regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills, including experience using CRM and reporting tools.
  • Proven work experience as a Customer Success Manager with success in renewals and cross-sells.
