The Role: Digital Clinician

Hiring Manager: Medical Director/Head of Clinical
Salary: £85k (pro rata) Minimum 2 sessions per week
Availability: Minimum 2 sessions per week – Thursday and/or Friday
Location: Remote

Purpose of this role
The Digital Clinician will be part of our network of doctors, delivering customer-focused reports that help our customers to answer the health concerns they have, and to adopt healthier behaviours. They will play an active role in supporting our customer care team with handling customer enquiries and complaints. This role also provides the opportunity to be involved in exciting projects and initiatives within the business during a period of transformation and growth.
Role and responsibilities
- Interpreting blood results writing customer-focused reports for our customers' blood tests.
- Identifying and responding to the ideas, concerns and expectations of our customers.
- Advise on areas of customers’ results or behaviours that could be optimised.
- Reviewing reports which have been queried by the customer and re-reporting where necessary.
- Communicating critical results to customers and arranging customer follow ups.
- Working on-call out of normal business hours on a rota basis to handle critical results.

Clinical Governance
- To work within the clinical governance structures of Medichecks.
- Ensure that patient safety forms an integral part of your working practices.
- Identify, understand and report significant events and risks.
Clinical Support
- Support the customer service and business development teams where clinical guidance is required.
- To resolve customer enquiries & complaints which have been identified by the customer care team as needing clinical input.
Safeguarding
- Providing first point of contact for safeguarding queries when the safeguarding lead or their deputy is unavailable.
