Our client is a very dynamic global FMCG business with a portfolio of much-loved household name brands, combining heritage brand strength with entrepreneurial energy and a commitment to continuous learning and creating opportunities for its employees. With an ambitious new growth plan, and team of blue-chip trained marketers, it is seeking a Digital Comms Manager to drive their brand vision across all digital touchpoints and channels. This is your opportunity to lead omnichannel strategy, commerce growth and a talented team in a business that values bold decision-making and rapid execution.

🔦 POSITION OVERVIEW As Digital Communications Manager, you'll be the strategic lead connecting brand vision with digital delivery. You'll own the complete digital ecosystem – from paid media and Amazon to social platforms and ecommerce – translating business priorities into performance marketing strategies that drive growth. Your role bridges brand building and commercial results, ensuring consistent, data-driven customer engagement across all channels. You'll lead a content strategy agency partnership, manage creative amplification across the funnel, and coach your team to deliver personalised omnichannel experiences that build lasting brand equity and drive measurable business impact.

📒 WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING FROM DAY 1 Driving brand vision and strategy across all paid, owned and earned digital touchpoints and channels Defining and implementing consumer segmentation strategies for omni-channel content, media and ecommerce activation Developing and executing digital commerce growth strategies that increase market share and customer lifetime value Leading all paid media planning and buying across on-line and off-line channels, including Amazon content and media management Translating brand and business priorities into performance marketing strategies and tactics aligned to strategic goals Creating test, learn and scale frameworks that drive continuous improvement and innovation across campaigns Directing brand creative amplification efforts, ensuring consistent content application and messaging across the funnel Acting as the link between brand comms and content strategy development, ensuring alignment and coherence Managing the overall brand ecosystem experience across channels, creative assets and platforms for brand building and growth Collaborate with brand teams on personalised omni-channel programmes and customer relationship building initiatives Coaching and motivating your team to deliver excellence within a larger consumer engagement team environment Managing econometrics and testing and learning programmes to measure media effectiveness and optimise performance

🌟WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Robust experience in media strategy & planning or content and campaign management within an agency or client-side environment, ideally with some understanding of FMCG brands Exceptional experience across multiple media touchpoints including bVOD, OOH, radio, YouTube, Meta, search, Amazon and TikTok Comprehensive understanding of the consumer ecosystem and how different channels work together Experience developing content strategies, asset development and adaptation for multiple audiences Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams effectively Strong understanding of both brand building and performance marketing principles Knowledge of ad-tech and mar tech platforms with ability to develop implementation roadmaps Experience managing econometrics and testing and learning programmes Ability to translate data into actionable insights that drive commercial impact Results-oriented track record demonstrating measurable success in previous roles Commercial acumen and ability to link media investment to business outcomes University degree in a commercial subject (marketing, business, economics or related field)
