Help capture and share the stories that bring Middlesex to life. Middlesex University is looking for an experienced Digital Content Coordinator to join our Student Recruitment, Marketing and Communications team.
About the Role
This role supports our Digital Content Officers in the planning, capture, editing, coordination and organisation of content across:
- Social media
- Web platforms
- Wider digital channels
You will help create current, engaging, and useful content for our audiences, with particular focus on:
- Supporting photography
- Short-form video creation
- Event content capture
- Student-led storytelling
- Website updates
- Content library management
- Wider marketing activities

Collaborating with colleagues, students, and external suppliers, your work will ensure content is: ✔ Clear and accurate ✔ Well organised and on-brand ✔ Effectively reusable across campaigns and platforms
Responsibilities
- Plan and capture high-quality visual content (photos & short-form video) for digital channels
- Coordinate and editorial content workflows
- Support organisational events (Open Days, Clearing, offer holder activities)
- Maintain digital content libraries for seamless reuse
- Work closely with stakeholders across the University
- Optimise content for social media, websites, and multi-channel campaigns

Requirements
- Digital content creation expertise (proven experience required)
- Knowledge of short-form video production, photography and social media content
- Strong organisation and multitasking ability
- Attention to detail and branding adherence
- Although Higher Education experience is not mandatory, familiarity with content planning/digital asset management is essential
Note: This role is 3-days-per-week on campus (Hendon), with flexible support for peak University events.
