Dept

Homes & Antiques

Working hours

Part time, 2 days per week

Company Description

Our Media is a leading special-interest content business, based in the buzzing, creative city of Bristol. We're home to market-leading brands in craft, cycling, science and nature, homes and music.

We help our audiences pursue their passions through highly trusted, original content - in print, video and online. Our much-loved brands include BBC Science Focus, BBC Wildlife Magazine, YourHome, Gathered.how, BikeRadar and Cycling Plus.

We also have an award-winning content agency that works with major charities, brands and membership organisations to help them tell their stories and engage audiences better - in print, video, and online.

Position

Homes & Antiques is looking for a Digital Content Creator to support its growth and deliver commercial aims by producing timely, engaging content that reaches audiences across multiple platforms including its website, Apple News, social media and newsletters.

This is a hands-on and varied role for a passionate individual who understands how great digital content works, and a natural curiosity for what makes audiences tick across various platforms.

You'll be able to identify stories with strong discovery potential and turn them into engaging content that attracts new audiences, while maintaining the expertise and trust that Homes & Antiques is known for. This could include breaking interiors news, trends-based features, social-first content or short-form video ideas and will involve prioritising in line with the commercial strategy.

You will have a good knowledge of the interiors market and an understanding of the topics that matter to interiors lovers. You may come from a journalism, social media or digital marketing background, but most importantly, you'll be excited about creating engaging and accurate content.

Responsibilities

  • Writing: Write engaging, high-performing digital content for Homes & Antiques and experiment with new formats to maximise reach and audience engagement across all platforms.
  • Social media: Create and publish content on Facebook and Instagram and schedule posts when necessary, using Social Bee.
  • Newsletters: Create, build and send regular newsletters, adapting existing content for email and supporting the testing of new formats.
  • Production: Optimise headlines, upload and format articles in the CMS, fact-check copy and repurpose content for use across multiple platforms.
  • Data: Use performance data and audience insights to inform ideas and build on successful content to deliver commercial aims.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the audience development, marketing and other central teams.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
