Digital Content Creator
Location: Greater Manchester
Salary: £45k to £50k DOE
Hybrid: 2 days in the office / 3 days from home
Permanent: Full time
We are on the lookout for a Digital Content Creator who will lead our client's organic social media and thought leadership strategy, ensuring their expertise, people, and propositions resonate with the right audiences. Working closely with the wider marketing team, you will act as a go-to digital adviser for the senior leadership team, guiding them on personal branding and platform strategy while constantly experimenting with emerging formats to keep the agency distinctive and highly visible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop content and platform recommendations that directly support our client's growth and marketing goals.
- Work closely with senior leaders to build their personal profiles and grow their audiences on social media.
- Keep pace with changing social media trends, formats, and audience behaviours to maximise engagement.
- Find ways to promote content through external platforms, communities, and partnerships to boost reach.
- Confidently present plans, performance insights, and creative ideas to senior stakeholders.
- Create and oversee multi-format content (including copy, short-form video, and graphics), ensuring high quality across all channels.
- Manage content calendars and sign-off processes to keep campaigns aligned and on schedule.
- Train senior leaders and the wider team on personal branding, platform best practices, and audience engagement.
- Monitor social channels, respond appropriately to comments, and manage daily interactions.
- Introduce new digital tools and templates to enhance the team’s creative capabilities.
- Regularly review performance data to understand what drives growth, producing clear reports.
- Experiment with new formats and channels, feeding the insights back into the broader marketing plan.
- Align all marketing activity with the client's commercial goals and track success against clear targets.
- Manage marketing budgets effectively to ensure a strong return on investment.
- Keep marketing systems, tracking tools, and reporting dashboards up to date.
- Support junior team members through regular feedback and lead internal training sessions on content creation.

About you:
- Deep, up-to-date knowledge of channels like LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Reddit, with a proven track record of creating high-performing content for each.
- Strong hands-on skills in writing, short-form video, and image production, tailored effectively to different audiences.
- Analytical and target-oriented, with the ability to track performance, spot trends, and optimise future content.
- Self-directed and detail-oriented, bringing clear structure and accountability to marketing plans.
- Highly curious about emerging digital tools and formats, with a passion for experimenting and evolving our client's approach.
