Social Content Producer (Digital Communicator)

We're looking for an excellent digital storyteller with a passion for creating high-impact content that inspires engagement, shares widely, and drives meaningful conversations. If you thrive on working at the intersection of news, ideas, and creative storytelling—helping complex research become compelling narratives—this role is for you.

This vital opportunity is for a proactive digital communicator to join IPPR, one of Britain's busiest think tank communications teams, where your mission will be to engage new audiences, amplify research impact, and make bold ideas part of everyday public thinking.

About the Role

IPPR is an independent charity dedicated to shaping public debate around the biggest challenges facing society—from democracy to the environment. Our role is to ensure our research and ideas reach those who matter most: decision-makers, thought-leaders, and the public.

At the heart of our digital communications team, you’ll play a crucial role in:

  • Creating engaging content—developing short-form video, optimised for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter.
  • Designing shareable assets to highlight research findings, thinking pieces, and policy proposals.
  • Writing punchy, platform-optimised copy for blogs, social media, and digital campaigns.
  • Supporting content production—assisting in scripting, filming, and editing videos (where applicable).
  • Launching live-streamed events, ensuring they reach both immediate spectators and future audiences.
  • Aligning with the communications strategy—collaborating closely with the team to decide priorities, timing, and distribution.
  • Growing and diversifying IPPR’s audience on social media, expanding engagement across platforms.
  • Contributing to deeper strategic thinking—monitoring trends, misinformation, and public sentiment to identify opportunities for impact.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
