About the Role
We seek a practical, hands-on Digital Content & SEO Editor to support a short-term project aimed at enhancing the Bar Standards Board (BSB) website’s performance, usability, and content quality.
Your work will focus on:
- Identifying and resolving SEO issues
- Redesigning and improving content structure and clarity
- Harvesting analytics insights to inform strategic modifications

The role will be deemed successfully completed if the following deliverables are achieved:
- Updated metadata and SEO optimisations across key pages
- A cleaned and streamlined website, with restructured content, rewritten high-priority pages, and smoother user journeys
- A final report summarising analytics findings and recommended next steps for maintaining improvements
Key Responsibilities
Content Editing & Improvement
• Optimise existing content for clarity and effectiveness • Rewrite or refine high-priority pages to enhance user engagement

• Conduct technical and content SEO audits • Implement necessary metadata changes to improve search performance
Content Clean-up
• Rationalise technical and superfluous duplicates • Redesign information architecture for better usability
Analytics & Insights
• Monitor and interpret website traffic data • Report findings and propose data-driven recommendations for ongoing maintenance
