We are seeking a creative, commercially minded digital content manager to lead the development, delivery and optimisation of digital content for the agency. You’ll be working across packaging, manufacturing, construction and technology sectors, you will be responsible for creating engaging digital experiences that strengthen brand visibility, drive audience engagement and support client objectives.
This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on content creation and digital marketing expertise. You will oversee content planning, social media activity, website content, video production and performance reporting while ensuring all activity aligns with best practice in digital communications, SEO and Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO).
You will work closely with account teams and client stakeholders to create integrated campaigns and deliver measurable results across multiple channels.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement digital content strategies for Talacom and client accounts
- Create and manage content calendars that align with campaign objectives and key business priorities
- Identify opportunities to increase engagement, reach and lead generation through digital channels
- Ensure content supports broader communications and marketing campaigns
Content Creation & Management
- Create high-quality written, visual and video content for websites, blogs, social media platforms, newsletters, email marketing and digital campaigns
- Manage, edit and publish content across a range of channels including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and Pinterest
- Translate complex technical and scientific topics into engaging and accessible content for target audiences
- Brief and collaborate with designers, videographers and external suppliers where required
- Maintain brand consistency across all digital touchpoints

Website & SEO/GEO Management
- Manage website content updates and optimise website performance
- Implement SEO and GEO best practices to improve visibility across search engines and AI-powered platforms
- Conduct content audits and recommend improvements to enhance user experience and search performance
- Work with developers and designers to support website improvements and digital projects
Social Media & Campaign Delivery
- Lead the planning and delivery of social media campaigns for Talacom and its clients
- Monitor social media performance and identify opportunities to improve engagement and growth
- Support paid digital campaigns in partnership with account teams and external specialists where appropriate
- Identify emerging platforms, tools and formats to keep clients at the forefront of digital communications
Analytics & Reporting
- Track, analyse and report on content and campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics, social media analytics platforms and reporting dashboards
- Provide insight-driven recommendations to improve future activity
- Measure campaign success against agreed KPIs and client objectives
Internal Collaboration & Support
- Work alongside account teams to develop content ideas and campaign concepts
- Share digital marketing and content best practice across the agency
- Support the agency's own marketing, employer branding and business development activities
- Mentor and support junior team members in content creation and digital communication
Person Specification
Essential Skills & Experience
- Minimum three years' experience in a digital content, content marketing or digital marketing role, ideally within an agency environment
- Excellent copywriting, editing and storytelling skills
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, content strategy and social media management
- Experience creating content across multiple formats including video, photography, graphics and written communications
- Knowledge of SEO and GEO principles and their practical application
- Experience using Google Analytics and other reporting platforms to analyse performance and generate insights
- Experience managing website content through CMS platforms
- Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Confident working with a variety of stakeholders and client teams

Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience working across packaging, manufacturing and technology industries
- Experience running paid social or digital advertising campaigns
- Knowledge of email marketing platforms and CRM systems
- Photography, videography and video editing experience
- Experience using tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, Hootsuite and WordPress

Salary & Benefits
Salary: £31k - £36k per annum (based upon experience)
Bonus: Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) bonus scheme
