The Opportunity
This is an opportunity to join one of the UK's most significant infrastructure programmes – Sizewell C – a once-in-a-generation clean energy project that will help power over 6 million homes for decades to come.
Working within the Civil Works Alliance (a partnership between Balfour Beatty, Bouygues Travaux Publics and Laing O'Rourke), you'll play a key role in driving the adoption of digital engineering and 3D model management across one of Europe's largest infrastructure projects.
As a Digital Adoption Co-ordinator – 3D Model Management, you'll support the implementation of digital processes that enable seamless collaboration between Digital Engineering, Design, Information Management and Construction teams. You'll help ensure that 3D models are effectively managed, governed and deployed to site, supporting a paperless approach to construction and improving project delivery through innovative digital solutions.
What You'll Be Doing?
- Supporting the development and implementation of end-to-end 3D model management processes across the project lifecycle
- Managing the governance, administration and packaging of 3D models for site-based use through platforms such as Trimble Connect
- Supporting model review, approval and coordination processes across Digital Engineering, Design and Information Management teams
- Helping develop Information Delivery Specifications (IDS) and ensuring model deliverables align with project requirements
- Supporting the optimisation of Common Data Environment (CDE) workflows to improve the efficient distribution of digital information
- Developing training materials and supporting project teams in the effective use of 3D models and digital workflows
- Supporting the implementation of paperless construction processes and digital delivery initiatives
- Working closely with digital, engineering and supply chain teams to improve collaboration and information flow
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes through digitalisation, automation and data-driven decision making
- Supporting continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and promoting best practice across the programme

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
