About The Role

Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a Digital Delivery Coordinator to join our growing team in Scotland.

Travel will be required as this role will support multiple projects.

What you'll be doing

Support the project teams to facilitate their business processes using digital tools/technology. These processes include but are not limited to:

  • HSES access control, competency management, permits and controls
  • Quality progressive assurance
  • Task management of short term look ahead programmes
  • Information management for files and project data
  • Reality capture and progress reporting
  • Identify and review new ways of working which will benefit the project by increasing efficiency, reducing cost, improving quality, sustainability and aiming for Zero Harm
  • Support the Information Managers to implement the project Information Management Plan and associated documents to meet the requirements outlined in the Employer Information Requirements
  • Educate project teams, clients and supply chain members in the use and development of the Project Information Model (Graphical and Non Graphical)
  • Support data capture to support reporting for project teams and senior management
  • Facilitate 3D site coordination meetings with internal and external project partners
  • Demonstrate the Balfour Beatty Core behaviours
  • Collaborate relentlessly
  • Ensure a relentless focus on Zero Harm

Who we're looking for

  • 3-5 years construction industry experience (does not have to be in power transmission or distribution)
  • Good understanding of core construction processes (RAMS, Permits, ITPs, QC checks, Short Term Planning, Temporary Works etc)
  • Understanding of the UK BIM Framework, Protocols, and IM best practices
  • Can demonstrate strong technical ability with the use of digital platforms, for example: Autodesk products, BIM 360 and ACC, Navisworks, Microsoft O365, Excel, Power Bi (to interact with a report, not build one), PowerPoint, SharePoint
  • Working knowledge of project CDE environments
