Digital Delivery Director
Digital Transformation / Technology Delivery Leadership
Hybrid – Bedfordshire / London £100,000–£110,000 + benefits
We are seeking a Digital Delivery Director to lead a complex, business-critical programme as it transitions from build into operational launch. This opportunity suits a senior delivery leader with strong transformation experience and the stakeholder capability to navigate a politically sensitive, multi-party environment.
The successful candidate will play a central role in guiding a major platform to launch in a controlled, credible and commercially sound way, while building confidence across a broad senior stakeholder group.
The role
You will take end-to-end ownership of delivery across a major digital platform programme, coordinating the path to release and ensuring both the organisation and stakeholders are ready to support go-live.
The environment is complex, with multiple stakeholder groups and competing priorities. Success will depend on your ability to build alignment, exercise sound judgement, and maintain momentum without compromising quality.
This role requires a leader who is transformation-driven and technically credible - someone who understands technology delivery well enough to challenge and guide, but whose strengths lie in leadership, stakeholder engagement, prioritisation and mobilisation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Experience in regulated or similarly complex environments (e.g. public sector, infrastructure or defence) is advantageous. Familiarity with service design, business readiness, and enterprise technologies such as Dynamics, Power Platform or Azure would be beneficial, but is not essential.
Why this role?
This is a rare opportunity to step into a highly visible leadership role on a significant platform programme. You will help shape the final route to launch, influence delivery practices, and play a key role in embedding a long-term digital capability.
