Digitalisation & Design Advisor 📍 Wolverhampton 🕒 Full-Time | Permanent 💰 Salary up to £35k


About the Role A leading manufacturer within the construction sector seeks a Digitalisation & Design Advisor to join its established Technical Team based in Bilston. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a strong technical background in construction and experience using Revit and AutoCAD, eager to play a key role in supporting both digital innovation and technical design delivery.

The role involves working closely with the Digitalisation & Design Manager to provide technical and digital design support to internal commercial teams and external customers. Key tasks include:

  • Producing bespoke and standard construction details
  • Supporting digitalisation projects
  • Developing technical resources, drawing libraries, and digital tools to enhance customer experience and technical offering

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce accurate technical drawings and construction details using Revit and AutoCAD
  • Provide technical design support to customers and commercial teams
  • Assist with development and maintenance of digital drawing libraries
  • Support wider digitalisation initiatives across the technical department
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of technical processes and documentation
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders for high-quality technical solutions
  • Occasional travel to support business requirements

About You

We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented individual passionate about working in a technical environment with an interest in digital innovation in construction. Required:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the commercial flooring sector or wider construction industry
  • Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to produce accurate technical drawings
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Valid UK driving licence
