Key Responsibilities
Technical & Customer-Facing Duties
As an apprentice, you’ll perform a diverse range of tasks to deliver top-tier repairs and service to customers:
- Receive and log in faulty digital devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops).
- Diagnose faults accurately, determining the best course of repair.
- Carry out technical & software repairs, including component replacements.
- Progress technologies repair process end-to-end, ensuring timely delivery.
- Test and recheck all fixed devices before returning them to customers.
- Adhere to company SLAs and repair service standards.
- Use specialist tools, equipment, and digital repair systems.
Admin & Documentation
- Log all details in internal systems—repair records, parts used, and work progress.
- Keep customer databases (e.g., CRM platforms) updated in real time.
- Communication: Update customers via phone, email, and face-to-face about progress.
- Manage customer service inquiries professionally.
Technical Management Support
- Inventory & Stock: Monitor and restock parts and components.
- Collaborate with suppliers, partner centres, and manufacturers on warranty returns and replacements.
- Manage sustainable practices: recycling parts, safely disposing of non-reparable devices.
- Follow data security and company policies at all times.
Teamwork & Growth
- Work in a cross-functional team, supporting repair, logistics, and customer service workflows.
- Share insights and process improvements with senior management.
- Contribute to training and team development.
- Signing off completion of apprenticeship training modules and assessments.
Essential Qualifications & Attributes
