Digital Director - London (Hybrid - 3 days per week) - £140,000 - £175,000 + Bonus + Equity Opportunity + Excellent Benefits
I'm partnering with an ambitious AI-focused consultancy looking to appoint a Digital Director to join its Senior Leadership Team.
This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of a growing business, leading its digital strategy, AI product innovation and technology capability. You'll play a key role in defining the organisation's technology vision, overseeing the development of AI-enabled products, supporting major consulting engagements and influencing the long-term growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership across the organisation's digital, AI and product capabilities as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
- Lead the AI Product & Innovation Function, overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of AI-enabled products from ideation through to launch, adoption and ongoing evolution.
- Define and own the digital technology roadmap, ensuring products and platforms support the firm's long-term growth strategy.
- Act as the organisation's senior technology leader, providing credibility and strategic guidance across consulting engagements and client relationships.
- Oversee internal, offshore and third-party development teams, ensuring high-quality delivery and best practice throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Build and manage strategic technology partnerships, supplier relationships and software delivery partners.
- Establish governance across product delivery, including requirements gathering, development oversight, testing, user acceptance and delivery frameworks.
- Work closely with senior leadership to identify new AI product opportunities and bring innovative solutions to market.
- Represent the business externally through client engagement, executive workshops, industry events and thought leadership activities.
- Recruit, mentor and grow the digital, product and consulting capability as the organisation continues to scale.

- Executive-level experience leading digital strategy, product development or technology functions within a consulting, technology or digital-first organisation.
- Proven experience delivering AI, digital transformation or software product initiatives from concept through to implementation.
- Strong understanding of modern software engineering, product development methodologies and technology governance.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across Product, Engineering, Architecture and Delivery, including management of offshore development partners.
- Demonstrable experience engaging with C-suite stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor on digital strategy and technology transformation.
- Commercially minded, with the ability to translate technology strategy into scalable products, consulting offerings and measurable business value.
- Experience building and scaling digital or product functions within a high-growth or entrepreneurial environment.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage equally well with technical teams, executive leadership and clients.
- Passion for AI, emerging technologies and innovation, with the vision to shape future products and digital capabilities.
