The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Digital Workplace Strategy Lead to shape and deliver an enterprise-wide Digital Employee Experience (DEX) strategy within a complex, highly regulated environment.

This is a strategic leadership role focused on defining how technology, people, processes, and support services come together to create a secure, productive, and engaging digital workplace.

Working closely with Digital, HR, Security, Communications, and senior business stakeholders, you'll assess the current employee experience, define a future-state operating model, and develop a prioritised roadmap that supports business growth, operational excellence, and technology transformation.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has led large-scale digital workplace or Microsoft 365 transformation programmes and enjoys influencing strategy at an enterprise level.

Key Responsibilities

As the Digital Workplace Strategy Lead, you will:

  • Develop and own the enterprise Digital Employee Experience strategy.
  • Assess the current employee experience across the full employee lifecycle, including Joiners, Movers, and Leavers (JML), collaboration, productivity, and learning.
  • Review and assess existing digital workplace platforms including Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, ServiceNow, Power Platform, SAP, and Identity & Access Management.
  • Identify opportunities to improve employee productivity, collaboration, engagement, and service quality.
  • Benchmark the organisation against recognised Digital Employee Experience frameworks and industry best practice.
  • Define the target operating model, governance framework, and strategic vision for the digital workplace.
  • Develop future-state service ownership, experience architecture, and business capability models.
  • Produce a prioritised transformation roadmap covering short, medium, and long-term initiatives.
  • Establish measurable success criteria and a continuous improvement framework.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across IT, HR, Security, Communications, and business functions to secure alignment and drive strategic change.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
