Digital Experience Designer
GROFU
GROFU is a growing company that operates a portfolio of brands across marketing, consumer products, e-commerce, local media, travel and other sectors.

We are now hiring a Digital Experience Designer to take ownership of design and user experience across the group.
This is a senior role that combines strategic ownership with hands-on delivery across multiple brands. You will be responsible for setting direction, but you will also be involved in the details.

- Define and drive digital experience strategy across multiple brands within the group
- Prioritise activity based on commercial impact and growth potential
- Align design with wider business goals and product direction
- Provide clear roadmaps and practical next steps

Hands-on execution
- Conduct UX audits and oversee implementation
- Work directly with developers and marketing on structure, flows, performance, and site builds
- Map user journeys to commercial pages and refine on-site conversion
- Guide design production with clear user intent and structure
- Review and improve information architecture and interface consistency
- Stay close to behavioural data and make direct changes where needed
Collaboration
- Work closely with copywriters to ensure content and design perform commercially
- Collaborate with developers on build quality and front-end execution
- Support new brand launches with solid design foundations from day one
- Ensure experience thinking is embedded into marketing and development workflows
Performance and accountability
- Own experience KPIs across engagement, conversion, leads and revenue
- Report clearly to the founder and clients with direct insights and actions
- Focus on meaningful commercial outcomes rather than vanity metrics
- Adapt quickly when data shows something needs changing
Who We're After
You will be someone who:

- Has at least 5 years' digital design experience
- Has operated at a senior level but is still fully comfortable executing hands-on work
- Understands UX and UI in depth and can confidently brief developers
- Has strong commercial awareness and understands conversion-driven design
- Is confident working across multiple brands and sectors
- Takes ownership and does not need micromanagement
- Communicates clearly and directly
- Enjoys building systems but is equally happy working in the weeds
You should be as comfortable in Figma, a prototyping tool and CMS, as you are when discussing strategy.

Work Location: Hybrid - Monday, Tuesday and Thursday in-office days
